Help i want a sphynx cat but i have a dog?

I have just recently wanted a Sphynx cat but i have a dog that seems to all ways run after cats when he goes for walks i have quite a large house and i now that sphynx cats are house cats i was just wondering if any one has had a dog then got a spyhnx cat and if thy got on or not because i really wont one.

1. Sphynx cats have to stay indoors because sunlight is very damaging to their skin. They are very loving and affectionate cats. It is possible for cats [regardless of breed] to get along with dogs. As long as the dog isn't violent or aggressive and well behaved - proper, slow and supervised introductions over the course of days-weeks should allow for them to get along.
