Does anyone know where I could get a Sphynx (bald) for a relatively cheap price?

I want nothing more than a Sphynx kitten. I've done tons of research on them and find them absolutely adorable. I would love to have one, but the cheapest I've been able to find is roughly $1,200. Any help?

1. That may be the going rate. You may have more luck if you get to know a breeder or if you find one in captivity. Economic times are tough though, so luckily for you, the price of pets has been going down a little bit.

3. Sphynx kittens are expensive and that's the average price. You could adopt an adult Sphynx (retired from show/breeding) for cheaper. Here's Sphynx breeders to contact. http://www.breedlist.com/sphynx-breeders.html
4. Google 'sphynx breed cat rescue', they go for the price of adoption. Our animal shelter got 2 in a 3 month timespan, they went for the $50 adoption fee. Contact your shelter AND animal control and ask to be notified if one comes in, most places do keep lists of people looking for a specific breed.
