Where can I find a Sphynx cat. and how expensive are they?

I read they are a rare breed, so im assuming the price is sky high. But where can i find one, and how much would one usually cost, on average?

1. You should find a sphynx cat breeder you can start by googling for a sphynx breeder or a sphynx cattery. The price depands on the breeder and "quality" i.e breeder, show, pet. I don't know if there is a sphynx rescue but you can look for it online as well.

There are several listings of breeders, including the largest cat registry, The Cat Fanciers Association, Inc., http://secure.cfa.org/Search.aspx and the Fanciers' Referral Breed List, http://www.breedlist.com/breeders/sph_ac.html I think the average price for a kitten is $1,200-$1,500. You may be able to find retired show cats more affordably. Good luck in your search!
