How much do Sphynx Cats (Hairless cats) cost?

  1. You'll have to get in contact with a breeder.
  2. The price depends on where you get them from. Search the web, sometimes you can find them up for adoption for a small fee.
  3. Those things are so ugly I'd sell one for 50 cents, at least I could sell it! 2 pts thnx
  4. A lot. It's easier to just shavearescued tabby. *don't do that* But I hope you find, purchase, and care for your Mr. bigglesworth.
  5. The prices I have seen are around $800-$1000 for a kitten. If you check around, you might find an adult one cheaper. Sometimes an older queen that they no longer want to have kittens is available cheaper.
  6. I do know that this particular breed of cat is top dollar. Also, it depends on the breeder. You may want to check the internet for breeders in your area.
  7. Get in contact with a breeder. Sometimes they have "retired" breeders that are already fixed looking for good homes, sometimes for little or no money. If you wanted a kitten, it might be $800 because they're kinda rare. Purebred cats are like real estate -- whatever the market will bear. Check the CFA website at cfainc.org for links to cat breeders or search on 'Sphynx Cat'. They aren't really hairless, you know. They've got a sort of "downy" fur all over.
  8. Kittens are around $1000 - more if you plan to show your cat. I got mine for $500 from a breeder because she was already an adult and not show quality, which is fine with me because I love her so much and she'd much rather be a pampered pet than a show cat.
