Any sphynx cat owners out there?

I am looking for a baby sphynx to add to our family and i was wondering if anyone has one and could referre a good breeder?

  1. Hairless cats are prone to skin disease and can be difficult to achieve by breeding as the gene(s) tend(s) to be recessive.
  2. I am not sure what country, state or area you live in, but check sites like Cat Fancier's Association, American Cat Association, etc for references for good breeders, they hold high standards. Be ready to do your homework on this breed though, they are high maintenance. Immensely friendly and loving, though.
