my cat has patches of hairless skin, its red and feels crusty, what is it?

on both her legs, and on her neck/chest area there are patches of skin that have no hair and look like theyve been ripped out or something. and on her stomach she has bright red patches that almost if you can imagine have been licked so much the skin is coming off or something. what is going on?

1. some cats have a compulsive licking disorder where they create problems on their bodies. some cats have allergies. it could be a type of mite or a flea allergy. go to the vet and have them check it out. they may want to do a skin scraping of it to see.
2. maybe she has ringworm and its highly contagious!!!
3. 'Could be mange, compulsive licking, or ringworm. 'Better get her to a vet to check!
